The Municipality of Pirri is located north of the city center of Cagliari and more precisely north-east of the Saint Michele hill. The historic town occupies a hollow that from the Monte Claro park in the south-west reaches the riu Saliu in the north-east. A hilly stretch opens from the foot of its historic center to the north-west border, delimited by the SS 554 and called Colle di Barracca Manna, the outskirts of the town itself and the highest point.

The area is mainly urbanized for almost all of its extension. In the Terramaini district, an homonymous green park was created, as a result of an urban redevelopment, covering an area of ​​eight hectares and adjacent to the Terramaini canal, with a mirror of stagnant water inside the basin of the nearby Molentargius pond.

It is a dock located inside the port of Cagliari, at the root of the new west pier, which can also accommodate large yachts. It has about 108 berths, 30 of which for transit, managed by the Motomar Sarda.
It has several services: fuel on the quay, engine assistance, repairs, electricity on the quay, water, ladder, crane, weather service, toilets.

Dedicated to the Sardinian victims of the Independence Wars, the monument has been inaugurated in the summer of 1886.

Made by the Piedmontese sculptor Giuseppe Sartorio, the work has the look of an obelisk with a square base, with a laurel wreath on the top and, in the base,  decorated with rifles, cannons and other objects used in war.

On the four sides are reported dates and places of the main wars of the Risorgimento, and also the names of the Sardinian soldiers , who sacrificed their lives for the unification of the country. 

In the front, it is possible to see the italian flag and the portrait of Vittorio Emanuele II, first king in the unified Italy, who reigned from 1861 to 1878.

In Darsena Square, adjacent to the Dogan pier, a monument was erected in honour of the fallen of the sea represented by an imposing anchor. The Navy Day takes place throughout Italy in June and on this occasion a laurel wreath is also placed in Cagliari at the foot of the monument. On this date is as well celebrated the venture of Premuda, when, in June 1918, two armed motorboats, led by corvette captain Luigi Rizzo and ensign Giuseppe Aonzo, sank the Austro-Hungarian enemy fleet, contributing to the success of the First World War.

The b & b Monteverdi is located on the second of a three-story building located in one of the most beautiful areas of the city: the residential zone of the District of San Benedetto. In fact the b&b takes its name from the homonym via Monteverdi, closed road and quiet where it's easy to find parking, from which quickly reach the shopping area.

The structure can be reached in 20 min. from Cagliari Elmas airport or in 10 minutes from the port or from the train station of the city and is just a 3 min. walk from bus and lightweight.

A double bedroom with air conditioning and a double room are at disposal for the guests.

The rooms are furnished in a simple, but functional. The bathrooms have been renovated at the end of 2009.

At breakfast there are no limits of time and are available: coffee, tea, barley, milk, croissant, jam, butter, cheese, salami, panfette, fruit juices.

The cloister of the Capuchin Nuns, built between 1705 and 1711, is attached to the church of Our Lady of Mercy, in an area below Castello's walls previously used for the implementation of capital punishment. After the application of the laws of suppression for religious orders, the nuns left the convent, which became State property. After several changes of ownership, the convent was ceded to Sardinia Province of Capuchin and finally returned to Poor Clare Nuns in 1969.

Capuchin Nuns Order was found in Naples by the will of a Catalan noblewoman, Maria Longo, who obtained the approval to establish a new monastery for women in 1536 . Capuchins spread rapidly throughout Italy. At the end of 2005 the order numbered 160 monasteries and 2,209 nuns.

Mimì is a cosy bed and breakfast located in the centre of Cagliari and near the Park of Monte Urpinu.
