The B&B Angela was open in 1998, one of the first in Cagliari. With over 10 years experience in the field and her natural ability, Angela manages to make her guests feel at home. The Bed&Breakfast is located in the residential district of Genneruxi, an island of tranquility, but just few steps from downtown. The district is connected to the city and the beaches by public transport and the floor metro. In few minutes is possible arrive to the shopping center of the town in Via Dante, Via San Benedetto, to the court, the theatre, the hospitals (Binaghi, Villa Elena, Brotzu, Microcitemico and Businco).

The Roman Amphitheatre in Cagliari is the most important public building of the Roman Period. It is inserted in a natural valley on the southern slopes of the Hill of Buon Cammino.

Between the 1st and 2nd century AD, the builders carved into the bedrock most of the bleachers, the arena, the corridors (ambulacra) and other locations related to these. Even in Cagliari Ampitheatre, like in others, the bleachers are divided into three orders (imea, media and summa cavea), which were reserved to the different social classes (senatores, equites, plebeians, slaves).

The cages for wild animals (claustra) were along the corridors around the arena. The Amphitheatre could contain 10,000 spectators on average, who could attend the fights between men and wild beasts (venationes), the execution of death sentences and fights between gladiators (munera).

Until the end of the ongoing restoration work, it is not possible to visit the whole building and visitors are not allowed to access the arena and the undeground areas. A 80-metre long walkway will allow you to enjoy a close view of the Amphitheatre.

The MUACC, University of Cagliari Museum of Contemporary Arts and Cultures, hosts precious contemporary works of art dating back to the second half of the twentieth century and donated over time to the University of Cagliari.

The permanent collection includes the works purchased by Corrado Maltese, teacher from 1957 to 1969, and the 49 works donated by Italo Antico, dating back between 1958 and 2017.

The MUACC will also become an exhibition space for temporary art exhibitions, seminars and conferences in collaboration with university research and teaching.
