On board of Bibliobus, users can consult and borrow books. It also provides assistance to consult online documents and job opportunities.

Bibliobus has also two internet access points.

New b & b situated in a central area 10 minutes walk from the historical centre and within walking distance from the main shopping streets, from the Theatre and the Music's park. A few meters away there are the bus stops to get to all areas of the city and directly to the Poetto beach. Near the b&b there are restaurants, pizzerias, supermarkets, banks, and all main services. In front of the b & b is a large public parking area where you can park for free

The Bastion of Santa Croce offers one of the most beautiful panoramic views from the uptown; it is situated in the district of Castello, a few steps from the Tower of the Elephant.

The Bastion of Santa Croce, commonly known as "Santu Juanni" Bastion, is situated in the street of the same name, once included in the Giudaria, the jewish neighbourhood. According to the sources, that neighbourhood developed in Castello starting from the 13th century, but it was in the 15th century, under the Aragonese domination, that it reached its maximum expansion.

In 1492 the catholic sovereigns Ferinand of Aragon and Isabella of Castile ordered the expulsion from the whole kingdom of those jews who refused the conversion to Christianity; as a result of that law, applied in Cagliari too, the synagogue in the Giudicaria was turned into a catholic church and dedicated to the Holy Cross, giving birth to the current Basilica.   

The terrace dedicated to Santa Caterina is the Saint Remy Rampart northern extention, from which is possible to enjoy one among several breath-taking panoramic views offered by the district of Castello. It is easily reachable by a panoramic elevator from Viale regina Elena.

From the majestic terrace Umberto I, a flight of steps leads to Santa Caterina Rampart.

Since Middle Ages, when it housed a curtain wall provided with two towers, the area had a defensive function. The construction of the bastion dates back to the 16th century, when the site was known with different names, including the one of Terraple de la Fontana Bona, due to the presence of a fountain. As time passed, the latter was mentioned also as Fontana di Santa Caterina, owing its name to the namesake church and annexed convent erected in the 18th century in the environs.

However, the traces of human presence in this part of the town are definitely more ancient and date back to the Roman Age, as the archaeologists have recently discovered. To be more precise, it is assumed that, starting from the Republican Period, it housed a building of unknown function and later a graveyard. Eventually, it was completely filled of waste materials, a precious source for contemporary scholars as it is ascribable to a wide portion of our history, from Roman Times up to the 19th century, when the area was heavily modified to allow the construction of the Saint Remy Rampart nearby.

In the heart of the old town, the Saint Remy Rampart is one of the most important monuments in Cagliari and one of the most prestigious exhibition areas in the city centre.

The Saint Remy Rampart is to be numbered among Cagliari's most valuable monumental complexes. Built on the ancient defensive curtains of the medieval boundary walls, owes its name to the first Piedmontese Viceroy, Baron of Saint Remy.
The majestic panoramic terrace "Umberto I" and the underlying gallery known as Passeggiata Coperta were designed in 1896 by Giuseppe Costa e Fulgenzio Setti. The imposing structure, built in a classic style, with white and yellow limestone columns and corinthian capitals, was inaugurated in 1902. In 1943, the double flight of steps and the triumphal arch were gravely damaged by War World II bombings, but later the distroyed parts were accurately reconstructed.

Over time, the Passeggiata Coperta housed several activities. At first, the gallery was used as a banquet hall, but in the war period served as an infirmary and later as a shelter for people displaced by the bombings.
In 1949, it housed the first edition of the International Trade Fair of Sardinia. 

The Balice Rampart is part of the fortification walls of Castello. The visit is possible passing through the University Palace.

The Balice Rampart was designed by the architect Rocco Cappellino; thanks to its strategic position in the environs of the Elephant Tower, it faced the enemy attacks coming from the sea.

The bastion is not provided with an entrance, consequently is hard to locate it. In fact, it is reachable only passing through the University Palace, whose backyard stands on the Balice Rampart. 

Religious complex consisting of a small Catalan Gothic church dating back to the 14th century (the Sanctuary) and the Basilica, which was built around the 18th century in the Neoclassical style.
The Sanctuary Museum safeguards archaeological finds, naval models, church ornaments and ex-votos.

The Sanctuary, headquarters of Mercedario’s order, houses the wooden statue of Madonna with Child in her arms, which according to the tradition, miraculously arrived at the cost in front of Bonaria's hill in 1370.The legend says that a ship ,probably coming from Spain, was surprised by a storm, which suddenly calmed down only when the box containing the statue, was thrown into the water.

The devotion to the miraculous statue spread throughout all Sardinia, especially among sailors, who invoked her as protector. Spanish Conquistadors, named the city of Buenos Aires as "Puerto de Nuestra Señora de los Buenos Aires", in honour of the Sardinian sanctuary. The feast of our Lady of Bonaria is celebrated on 24th April, while on 25th March is remembered in a solemn way, the prodigious arrival of the Virgin Simulacrum. On the first Sunday of July, take place the summer feast, during which the statue of the Virgin is carried in procession to the sea.

Formerly a Sinagogue, it stands in an area that once was the Jewish ghetto. It was converted into a Catholic church after the expulsion of the Jews from Cagliari around 1500. It keeps works by Sardinian painter Giuseppe Deris.

Inside the church there is an only  nave, with three chapels for each side and a little chancel closed by a curvilinear apsis. The lateral chapels are decorated with altars in Baroque style and  they contain different artworks dating back to 17th and 18th century. The Barel vault is decorated with a motif of hexagonal panelled, painted by Ludovico Crispi in 19th century.

In the high altar stands out a wooden crucifix,while on chancel's side are represented St. Maurice and St. Lazzaro, two artwoks by a sardinian artisan, Antonio Caboni, date1824. The facade, preserves the emblem of the Jesuit order, who renovate and enlarge the church in 1661, thanks to the noblewoman Anna Brondo from Villacidro,who made a donation.
