The Louis Vuitton 38th America’s Cup Preliminary Regatta - Sardinia officially marks the start of the thrilling “Road to Naples 2027”.
The spectacular racing in the magnificent Golfo degli Angeli will be complemented by a rich programme of onshore events for the many enthusiasts expected to arrive in Sardinia - one of the most beautiful islands in the world, blessed with extraordinary natural scenery and perfect conditions for sailing. A true jewel of the Mediterranean.
The event takes place across two venues in the heart of Cagliari.
Located in the city’s port, the entrance-free Race Village is the beating heart of the event: it hosts the main stage and large screens showing live coverage of the races.
Those wishing to watch the races with a privileged view over the Gulf can make their way to the Lazzaretto FanZone, on the seafront promenade, where the Italian Sailing Federation also hosts activities including Alessandra Sensini’s Foil Academy and the Para Sailing Academy for differently-able athletes, as well as large screens and refreshment areas.
