Matti Kalevi Auvinen is a Finnish artist well known internationally and has also been a teacher of sculpture, 3-D Design and drawing.

In addition to his personal projects, he has been teaching stone sculpture at the Veneto Institute for Cultural Heritage in Venice since 2008.

This granite sculptural group was created on the occasion of the 3rd International Symposium of Sculpture on Buddusò in 1989 and is currently located at the Banco di Sardegna in Diaz Avenue.
