On Saturday 26 and Sunday 27 September, Italy once again takes part in the European Heritage Days (Giornate europee del patrimonio – GEP): across the country, state and non-state museums and cultural sites will host special openings, guided tours, and cultural activities under the theme “Heritage al Risk: Revive, Resist, Reimagine”.
On Saturday evening, state museums will also remain open with a symbolic admission fee of just €1 (with the usual legal exemptions).
The full programme of events throughout Italy is regularly updated on the Ministry of Culture’s website.
The Historical Archive of Cagliari and the Library Studi Sardi show to the public some restored treasures. Parchment manuscripts, seals, and, among printed texts, some 16th-century books that represent the most valuable part of the collection.
The event will take place on September 26th , as part of the European Heritage Days.
