Dance Season 2025/2026 at Teatro Massimo.
Chotto Desh (not included in the season ticket), España, Cinderella, Neapolis Mantra e Notte Morricone: these are the shows in programme for the season 2025/2026.
España is a performance composed of four choreographies whose common thread is dance in Spain, both popular and refined. The flamenco school will be presented ‘purified’ of all tourist-contemporary ‘interferences’ to return to its original form, characterized by Arab, Byzantine, and Gypsy influences. Next, the bolero school will be showcased, which is responsible for the rich repertoire of dances, some of which have nowadays become social dances.
Then comes Spanish classical dance, which has its own unique grammar. The evening will close with a choreography presenting an intelligent and spectacular fusion of the three schools.
The Larreal Company, entrusted with the interpretation of the evening, is a direct offshoot of the Real Conservatorio Profesional de Danza – Mariemma, one of the most important academies in Spain.

A timeless masterpiece returns to move audiences to the unforgettable music of Sergei Prokofiev.
“Cinderella” is much more than a fairy tale: it is a universal journey that crosses generations, cultures, and stages all over the world. Leo Mujić’s new choreographic interpretation brings freshness and relevance to this ancient story, bringing back the power of dreams and the possibility of redemption even in an age like ours, marked by uncertainty and disenchantment.
Neapolis Mantra is a multidisciplinary show that blends dance, live music, and spoken word into an immersive and emotional experience inspired by today’s Naples.
Conceived by the Italo-African director and choreographer Mvula Sungani, it features the étoile Emanuela Bianchini with her unmistakable physical dance, the intense voice of Enzo Gragnaniello and his band, a dance company, and an actress in a continuous interplay of languages.
A poetic and visceral journey that traverses the soul of Naples, between dream and spirituality, between body and word, between roots and contemporaneity.
Notte Morricone is a passionate and visionary tribute to Ennio Morricone's genius, a special night where his music breaks free from the images to live in a new form, blending dance, theatre, and dream.
Director and choreographer Marcos Morau transforms the stage into a suspended space, where Morricone’s immortal melodies become visual storytelling, body, and living memory.
Dancers and musicians take center stage in a timeless night where every note awakens memories and new emotions.
