Tutankhamon. The Tomb, the Treasure, the Discovery

From February 28th to July 31st the Covered Walkway of the Bastione di Saint Remy hosts "Tutankhamon. The Tomb, the Treasure, the Discovery", an unmissible exhibition dedicated to one of the most important figure of Egyptian history. 

On show the only authorized replicas of Tutankhamon's grave goods, certified by the Egyptian Ministry of Tourism and Antiquity. The originals are kept at the Grand Egyptian Museum and they don't travel around the world anymore, so the only way to see the funerary mask, the sarcophagus, the carts, the protective statues and the personal objects is to see this great exhibition in Cagliari. 

The exhibition retraces the great discovery made in 1922 by Howard Carter and gives the opportunity to do a virtual tour inside the entire tomb. 

Besides, people could see different sections dedicated to the mummification, the history of Tutankhamon's royal family and learn more about the myth around his tomb, as the the famous "malediction".

The exibition is supported by the Municipality of Cagliari and organized by Semata Società Cooperativa.
