KME – Karel Music Expo is the first musical meeting in Sardinia entirely dedicated to the indie universe. Enriched with workshops, showcases and gigs, as well as literary and cultural events, since its first edition (2007) it immediately caught the attention of both press and public.
It is a festival of music and resistant culture, promoting all forms of artistic expression that exist outside mainstream distribution mechanisms, within a high-level European showcase where form and content hold equal importance.
The structure of KME includes concerts, installations, meetings, and conferences centered around a specific theme, which changes each year, shaping the identity of each edition.
Among KME’s key partners are SonicBids and Gigmit, leading platforms for independent music on a global and European scale.
The constant presence of artists from all over the world, from emerging talents to established names, highlights the international nature and uniqueness of the event—qualities that have made Karel Music Expo an essential gathering for true music lovers since 2007.
