The small church dedicated to Saints Lorenzo and Pancrazio overlooks the homonymous street, a few steps from Viale Buoncammino.
Its construction, dating back to the XII century, is due to the Vittorini monks of Marseille and the building was so important that even the nearby door, which allowed entry into the Castello district, was renamed with the name Porta di San Pancrazio. The small temple enlarged in the 16th century, during the Spanish domination, became the church of the Madonna di Buoncammino while the name of the saint took place in the Savoy period.
Of the original construction only the ashlars of the sail bell tower remain.
