Church of Saint Simone

St Simone's church is located in Sa Illetta, near Santa Gilla's pond, and dates back 16th -17th century. Not very big,the church presents a simple facade,with a big and precious portal,and, in the middle, a  small bell. The building is encased in a privately owned farm,and every year, on  the 28 of October,  is celebrated a procession, during which the fishermen of Santa Gilla sail with typical ships, in order to honour the Saint.
