B&B La Plaia

The B&B is on the third floor, of period building characteristic of Cagliari with agreat view of Cagliari’s sea-port from the large terrace. A suite of the apartment is reserved for guests which has an independent entrance to ensure freedom and privacy.

Situated in a warm and friendly environment in the centre of Cagliari, just 200 metres from the bus station and Railway Terminal which give easy access to all parts of Sardinia including the Airport ( 15 mins ) also in this square Piazza Matteotti you will find the Tourist office and buses to the local beach Poetto beach.

A short walk from the square you can reach the old town “Castello” ( the castle ) rich in history and wonderful architecture, where you will also find the museum as well as numerous bars and cafes, from all around the “Bastione” the views across Cagliari and the “Gulf of Angels” are stunning, from the Castello you can wind your way down through the old town into the districts of “Marina” and “Stampace”, where one can find countless small bars and restaurants offering local sardinian cuisine and of course the more familiar Italian cuisine, wonderful sea-food or meat dishes, not to mention a huge selection of delicious wine and cheeses.

A variety of shops are located in this area, local handicrafts, souvenirs and naturally a multitude of clothes and shoe shops, this being Italy.
