Situated in the central position, near the Archaeological Museum and the Bastion, in the shopping area and in a wonderful position overlooking Cagliari’s roofs, the B&B "Vista sui tetti” offers the possibility to visit by foot and in an easy way the
The flat, with internet access, is in a private mew where you will not have the problem of parking your car. It is a young and easy solution that gives you the facility of every type of movement. The two rooms (one with bathroom ensuite and the other with private bathroom) are gracefully furnished to assure the right privacy and soft dreams. Bed and Breakfast “Vista sui tetti” is not a hotel but remains faithful to the original British "bed and breakfast" concept, offering a friendly homestay in our own house. We know Cagliari very well and as music-lovers and cinema-goers in touch with the cultural life of the city, we can help you to plan a pleasant evening out. Above all, we are interested in books, music, cinema and good food and wine and will be happy to guide you through the vast range of good and outstanding restaurants for which our city is justly famous.

Summer guest house with sea view and really beautiful terraces, right on the beach of Cagliari.
The property of this guest house ends right on the beach path. That separates the house from the amazing, about 8 km long Poetto beach.
Our villa is originally and well-furnished. All rooms are homely and warm. We have personalized all rooms and the home with many objects collected with care and taste during our trips. We offer 3 rooms, one can host 2 persons. All rooms are sunny with a fantastic view of the sea (air-conditioning), always clean and with a fresh and original touch. We strongly believe that the right difference between hotel and B&B should be done. Our guests can enjoy two sunny verandas, one on the ground-floor and the other on the higher floor, where they can relax, have breakfast and have a chat with us about Cagliari and the Poetto beach. In fact, our beautiful city beach offers you the chance to enjoy a beautiful panorama, the blue-green sea maybe drinking a good wine with your friends. With the hope to welcome you soon at Poetto beach, Villamarialuisa.

Only one kilometre far from the city centre, Giorgino is a very particular historical and geographical reality: the Fishermen’s Village was founded in 1939 under the fascist regime to create housing for local fishermen. So close and yet so far away from the city, its inhabitants continue to keep alive the traditions and the customs of the village.
In this sense, Sant’Efisio plays a predominant role for the community of Giorgino: the fishermen are the only ones that lead the martyr to the little church in their village. Here the city and luxurious clothes of the Saint are taken off, to make him wear the more humble ones of the countryside.
The costumes worn by the inhabitants of Giorgino during the procession are very simple in their workmanship, almost devoid of jewels and symbolize in their colours the strong relationship between those who live in the village and the sea.
The Fishermen’s Village is also known for its annual Fish Festival. Organised by the Quarter Committee in N. S. di Fatima square, that offers one of the most charming views of the city, the Fish Festival has been taking place for more than 30 years, traditionally on the first weekend of September.

The villa, whose owner was Don Pietro Vivaldi, was built in the late eighteenth century in the district of Villanova.
In the 40s the house was taken over by the industrialist Marino Cao and in the following decades it underwent radical restoration works. At the main entrance a sculpture depicts a chained Moor fidgeting the waves, recalling the battles with the Arabs that looted the coasts of Sardinia, in particular Portoscuso, where Vivaldi owned a fish farm. Pillars, wrought iron balconies and six pyramidal steeples outline the villa's front. The ancient horse stable is remarkable, formed by five bays built with exposed brickwork and tuff columns.
