The Municipal Art Gallery hosts the exhibition Tutto il peso del mondo (All the weight of the world), a solo exhibition of the artist Pastorello, born as Giovanni Manunta and curated by the art critic Alessandra Menesini.
The title, All the weight of the world, refers to the representation of a universe in turmoil inhabited by humanoid presences, plants, metal elements, hybridized and mutant faces and bodies. Images that contrast each other in the story of an "assaulted" nature that encompasses everything, even what is foreign and hostile to it.
A vision that is continuously renewed, in the production of an artist who studied at the Accademia delle Belle Arti in Florence and who assimilated and rendered that lesson in his own specific and unmistakable way.
On display are about twenty works, mainly large format, and a few smaller pieces, in a linear setting that accompanies the visitor into the poetics and skilful technique of one of the greatest contemporary authors.
