Cagliari is preparing to welcome an iconic figure of world music such as Stewart Copeland, who will perform in Largo Carlo Felice for the New Years' Eve celebrations with an orchestra of twenty-nine elements on December 31st.
The New Year's Eve celebrations will also take place in three other squares: Piazza Santa Croce, Piazza San Giacomo and Piazza Garibaldi.
The format is the same for all four squares: music starts at 9 pm with widespread music, at 10.30 pm live concert, at 11.55 pm the countdown and the toast, at 00.15 am the closing of the live concert, at 00.20 am DJ set and at 1.30 am the closing of the celebrations.
Tuesday December 31

On December 30th Nonis Swing Quartet will animate Piazza Garibaldi starting at 6:30 pm. While on January 1st at 5 pm always in Piazza Garibaldi, the puppet show Anima e cuore will be held, curated by Is Mascareddas.
