Lazzaretto Yesterday and Today

A city survives only if its inhabitants have 𝗸𝗻𝗼𝘄𝗹𝗲𝗱𝗴𝗲 and 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗰𝗶𝗼𝘂𝘀𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀 of where they live, 𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗽𝗲𝗰𝘁 and 𝘀𝗵𝗮𝗿𝗲 the rules and 𝗽𝗮𝘀𝘀 them on, along with its stories.
The museum is the place where every inhabitant feels at home, welcomed, and represented.
It is the soul of the place.
The exhibition “𝗟𝗮𝘇𝘇𝗮𝗿𝗲𝘁𝘁𝗼 𝗬𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗱𝗮𝘆 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗧𝗼𝗱𝗮𝘆” borns in order to preserve not only the history of the monument but also the memory of the place. But memory is not necessarily tied to the old and classic idea of a museum.
Today the narrative is enriched thanks to technology: cultural sites must adopt new methods of communication. Visitors should no longer be passive objects of the visit but should feel, savor, touch, and smell cultural content.
In a word, they must be active participants of the visit.
