The FAI Spring Days 2025 return on March 22nd and 23rd with their 33rd edition.
A unique opportunity to discover and rediscover the extraordinary cultural heritage of Italy, especially places that are usually closed to the public.
On this occasion, in Cagliari it will be possible to visit Conti Vecchi Saltworks and Attilio Mereu's Military Complex.
Conti Vecchi Saltworks
You will discover the history of the salt workers that used to live and work here in the 30s and you will be brought back to life through imaginative backdrops, historical documents, and immersive video screening. The visit will continue with a tour in the saltworks by a little train.
The visit can be booked, with a voluntary contribution, until spots run out, by phone or on-site.
In case of particularly high attendance, entry to the site may not be guaranteed.

Attilio Mereu's Military Complex
On this occasion, the Caserma "Attilio Mereu" is exceptionally opening its doors to the public, offering the opportunity to explore a military complex that is usually not accessible. Visitors can immerse themselves in the Italian military history, closely observing the original structures from the 1930s and understanding the evolution of the barracks' functions over the decades.
In case of particularly high attendance, entry to the site may not be guaranteed.
