Can you smile for me? Childhood denied

The Lazzaretto cultural centre hosts the exhibition of Giammarco Sicuro photojournalist, entitled Can you smile for me? Childhood denied. A photographic journey to discover poverty, injustice and conflicts in various parts of the world seen through the eyes of children. The exhibition includes eighty photo shoots taken over ten years in various countries: in schools in Afghanistan, in bunkers in Ukraine, in markets in Peru and in Burma. Each image is a fragment of reality and contains a message of hope and resilience. The inauguration will be held Tuesday, 28 January, at 10 am.
