From May 18th to November 24th 2024, it is possible to visit "Bisus: the Memory and the shadow of Time" solo exhibition by Gabriella Locci, curated by Olga Scotto di Vettimo.
The exhibition is conceived as a focus on the last fifteen years of experimentation and includes woodcuts, chalcographic techniques and paintings, within a space, the Central Hall of the Municipal Art Gallery, which cyclically hosts various artists.
Three large works that dominate the hall, welcome and weave a close dialogue with the space that is transformed into a large installation. These are accompanied by small works that continue in a punctual manner the whole discourse on Memory, Time and visionariness (Bisus). The exhibition room, apparently divided into two spaces, also finds its unity through the floor where an oval of black carpet creates communication.
The exhibition is enriched by the presence of a video that tells the conception of the relationship between work and space that is the basis of the work "It's red under and above the water", created when the work was "put into the sea" to simulate a symbolic journey.
