Abba. Le forme del fluire (Water. The theme of water through different languages)

The Exhibition Space of Municipal Historic Archive hosts an exhibition featuring works by twenty-nine artists who interpret the theme of water through different languages, from visual art to photography, from drawing to material experimentation.

The exhibition journey unfolds in four parts, inspired by a fragment of Heraclitus that guides reflection on the nature and multiplicity of water.

The first part explores water in its beauty and materiality, as a pure and contemplative element, a source of aesthetic wonder.

The second shows water as a habitat, a place of life but also of exploitation and mistreatment: a precious environment to protect.

The third part delves into water as a source of life and necessity, highlighting its value as a fundamental, privileged, desired, and sometimes absent resource, amid drought and scarcity.

The final part portrays water as a vital and devastating natural force, an unstoppable element that shapes lands, landscapes, and destinies.
