Nonostante il lungo tempo trascorso… Le stragi nazifasciste nella guerra di Liberazione 1943-1945

The cultural centre Il Ghetto hosts "Stories that trascend time... Nazi-fascist massacres in the war of liberation 1943-1945".  Organised by the Ministry of Defence and curated by Military prosecutor Generale Marco De Paolis, the exhibition uses photographs, documents, and film footage to show one of the most complex and painful chapters in our history in a clear and accessible way.

The exhitbition is divided into four sections: 

• the first one is dedicated to crimes committed against the soldiers;
• the second one (north-centre-south) is dedicated to the crimes committed in Italy against the civil population;
• the third one shows the deportees;

The exhibition places a special spotlight on the judicial dimension: the military criminal trials held before Allied Courts and Italian Military Tribunals that are little-known or entirely forgotten.
