Cagliari is preparing to get into the Christmas spirit with eighth edition of Traditional Christmas markets.
From 1 December to 7 January the streets of the center will host exhibitors who will to display and sell their products in the traditional wooden houses: Sardinian sweets, nougat, chocolate, panettone, cold cuts and cheeses, craft beers, liquors and sparkling wines but also lots of craftsmanship, such as jewellery, Christmas decorations, candles, vases, wooden sculptures, leather bags, wool and cork handmade objects and much more. There will also be exhibitors from: Puglia, Campania, Sicily, Argentina and Tunisia.
The traditional wooden houses will be set up in two places: 29 little houses in Corso Vittorio Emanuele II, open until 7 January, 11 little houses in Piazza Yenne, active until 29 December. The Christmas atmosphere will be enhanced by a calendar of family events: a piano will be available to the public in Piazza Yenne, for those who want to perform freely and give spontaneous Christmas melodies. In addition there will be days dedicated to touring shows and Christmas choirs, and an evocative giant chessboard which will offer a unique experience to children and enthusiasts.
